Building Services has offered me a fantastic profession where I have over the years used my skills to develop businesses in this sector. I have passion for what I do and believe that we have created a hardworking and proactive ethos within our business which has meant achieving excellent results for our clients and our people. Costas is a proactive and well-motivated individual with a wealth of knowledge in Building Services, Construction and Facilities Management Sector. Costas is the present Managing Director of the Polyteck Group of Companies across the UK and in the Middle East, the combined Group turnover is circa 30 Million. Having achieved a 1st class honours degree he worked for 4 years at Long and Partners Building Services Consultants where at 23 he became an associate director responsible for the electrical Department carrying out project management and design for all major projects.

Costas has worked on various projects as the lead design engineer and consultant for major blue chip companies and financial institutions.

Since leaving Long and Partners Costas has run various small businesses and has a total passion in property services engineering solutions and offering his clients the best advice for their buildings.

Costas became a director at Greg and Co Ltd where he developed the building services division of the business from £400,000 per annum to £1.0 million in 1 year.

When leaving Greg and Co he set up Polyteck Building Services offering the complete building services and facilities management solution. Polyteck has also acted as the developer on various projects across London and Internationally.

In 2004 Costas undertook a new build development scheme and construction managed the complete project where he managed all the sub-contract packages from demolition, groundwork’s, steelwork, piling, brickwork, curtain walling, mechanical and electrical Services, CCTV, Security Systems and full-internal fit out.

Costas and his father have also developed properties in Cyprus.

The building is now known as Polyteck House and is a mixed commercial/residential development in the City it is also the headquarters of Polyteck Building Services.

In 4 years he has built the Polyteck with his father from nothing into a multi-million pound company capable of delivering the complete facilities, planned, reactive maintenance and all types of special project works. Providing a ‘one stop shop’ for providing all types of services solutions.

The business now boasts a fantastic client base and property portfolio which the company is extremely proud of and is the core foundation of the business.

Costas believes in the ethos of continual professional development and being able to achieve more, he has trained all of the Polyteck team to work with this ethos in mind and encourages training to improve in the areas that are crucial to the business and its people.

In 2009 Polyteck acquired REL Ltd to further support its service offering and growth. REL provide Electrical and mechanical installation services in the construction industry.Costas has implemented the same management style and techniques at Polyteck and this has meant an automatic increase in revenue by the end of 2009, the business is now looking forward in 2010 to develop with a strong vision and mission backed with a quality team of individuals to deliver the results set out in the business plan.Across the group Costas is now responsible for £14 Million of Engineering as a Group turnover and offers maintenance services to properties in excess of £1.0 billion in the UK.Interests
